| Our RUSTIC Furniture comprise of two Mexican Ranges The GOTHIC RANGE and The RÚSTICOS Range comprising Dining Tables, Dining Chairs, Dining Room Furniture, Wine Bar Furniture, 'Entertainment' Units, Bookcases, Occasional Tables, Wardrobes, Bedside Cabinets RUSTIC MEXICAN FURNITURE This furniture was hand made in Central Mexico. Its Rustic Country Appearance dates back to the Spanish Colonial era of the 16th century. Whilst basic in construction, furniture was expected to last generations in the hot rugged and inhospitable conditions of Mexico. The timber used is a robust species called Ponderosa Pine sourced from managed Mexican plantations. The varied tones in the wood and the simple construction and finish gives the furniture its character. This style of furniture is still found in villages throughout the country. As nature takes its curse and the wood adjusts to our climate, small weathering cracks may appear. To protect these pieces of furniture properly, I recommend a regular coat of furniture wax.
